The cloud lab for protein expression and purification

Design the protein. We test expression and purification.

Submit a protein target. Powered by PandaPure, we run automated, high-throughput experiments using E. coli as the expression host—so you can see whether your design expresses and how it performs in small-scale purification.

Keep pace with protein design

Protein design is getting faster. Expression and purification testing needs to keep up.

Run candidates through an automated PandaPure workflow and compare expression and small-scale purification results to decide which designs to advance, redesign, or test next.

Four-step workflow

A clear path from target to data.

Applications are reviewed as they arrive. Eligible projects reserve beta capacity after plan confirmation and payment.

01

Submit your targets

Apply by August 15, 2026 with one to five protein targets suitable for expression in E. coli.

Submit amino-acid sequences; final pricing follows target CDS length. Targets over 5,000 bp are evaluated separately.
02

Complete project review

We review applications as they arrive for biosafety, legal compliance, technical fit, and DNA synthesizability.

Eligible projects move directly to plan confirmation; there is no need to wait until applications close.
03

Confirm your order

Approve the experimental plan and pay the sequence and construct charge: US$0.09 per bp, subject to a US$90 minimum per target.

Eligible beta capacity is reserved in order of completed plan confirmation and payment.
04

Receive expression and purification data

Each target is tested once in each of three standard PandaPure expression vectors, with A280 and SDS-PAGE data.

The beta expression and small-scale purification testing service fee is waived. Samples, optimization, and research-scale scale-up are separately scoped.

Built on PandaPure

Purification designed for automation.

PandaPure uses programmable synthetic organelles inside E. coli to organize the capture and recovery of target proteins. Its microplate-friendly workflow supports parallel expression and purification experiments, giving teams faster evidence on which designs are ready to advance.

Have a protein target ready?

Apply by August 15, 2026. We review eligible targets as they arrive. After plan confirmation and payment, places are secured first come, first served until the 60-target capacity is filled.

FAQ

The essentials, before you apply.

Ask a question
Who can apply?

University labs, research institutes, company R&D teams, and independent protein designers with targets suitable for expression in E. coli may apply. Each team may submit up to five targets for research use. Targets over 5,000 bp are evaluated separately.

What is PandaPure?

PandaPure is Ailurus Bio's purification technology. It uses programmable synthetic organelles inside E. coli to capture target proteins and support their recovery in an automation-friendly workflow. PandaPure Cloud applies this approach across parallel experiments, helping teams see which designs express and what can be recovered after small-scale purification.

How are beta places allocated?

Applications close August 15, 2026 and are reviewed as they arrive for biosafety, legal compliance, technical fit, and DNA synthesizability. For eligible projects, places within the 60-target capacity are assigned in order of completed experimental-plan confirmation and payment. Additional eligible projects may join the PandaPure Cloud service waitlist.

What does beta pricing include?

The sequence and construct charge is US$0.09 per bp, subject to a US$90 minimum per target, with no minimum batch size. Targets over 5,000 bp are evaluated separately. Each target includes one expression and small-scale purification test in each of three standard PandaPure expression vectors, plus A280 and SDS-PAGE data; the beta testing service fee is waived. Related plasmid constructs are stored for three months after results are delivered. Plasmid or recovered-protein sample shipment, optimization, additional testing, and research-scale scale-up are separately arranged and scoped.

How are sequences and results handled?

Submitted sequences and project results are treated as confidential. Biosafety and feasibility review helps identify projects suited to the first beta. Any internal R&D or product-improvement use follows the applicable privacy policy and terms.

First beta application

Submit your protein targets.

Tell us about your project and paste 1–5 protein targets in FASTA format. Begin each record with > and a target name, then add the amino-acid sequence on the following line.

Applications close August 15, 2026. Applications are reviewed as received. Eligible projects receive an experimental plan and final sequence/construct charge; capacity is reserved after confirmation and payment.

For the current beta application, submit up to five representative protein sequences.

Submitted sequences and project information are treated as confidential and reviewed for biosafety and technical fit.

Targets received.

Thank you. We will review your targets and, if eligible, contact you with the experimental plan and sequence/construct charge. Your beta place is confirmed after plan approval and payment.
